Thomas Dimpfl is co-author of the first "crowd-sourced empirical paper in Economics / Finance" (https://fincap.academy/)
More than 100 research teams took part in this project. Their task was to test hypotheses on the same data set and to write a short paper on each of the results. Leading finance academics from around the world took part in this project. The results have now been summarized in a working paper in which Prof. Dimpfl is a co-author. The paper is entitled "Non-Standard Errors" and shows a so far neglected, considerable source of uncertainty regarding the validity of (economic) hypotheses.
The working paper is available for download on SSRN: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3961574
