Content
The course prepares students to make management decisions based on data. For this purpose, the basics of mathematical statistics and linear algebra are considered first. Based on this, selected methods, for example from the area of linear and integer optimization, are presented. In addition, methods to support management in case of conflicting goals are examined. The approaches presented are illustrated and applied in exercises and case studies.
